What the installation involves

  1. Place Hub in utility room/panel (Ethernet or WiFi)
  2. Verify IHC connection — Hub finds the controller automatically via Modbus TCP
  3. Review devices with customer — all IHC devices appear automatically
  4. Add modern devices — pair Hue, Sonos, Zigbee if desired
  5. Show customer browser control at bt.langr.org
Total installation time: 15-30 minutes.

No new knowledge required

You already know IHC. BT Home requires no:

  • New software to learn (no ETS, no YAML)
